Back home in NYC for the first time in a month. Hopefully this crafty disguise will deter those people from speaking to me when I inevitably run into someone from high school.

Flavor Flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaav
I’ve been feeling like time is running out lately. It’s about time for me to use that hood upbringing(that I so didn’t have) to be a lot more aggressive with the things I want in life. I really need to sit down and figure out exactly what I want and how I’m going to go about attaining it.
Meh.

Today is my friend’s 28th birthday. We met at school when we worked for the greatest job in the world and since I left Buffalo(where I went to school) and can no longer celebrate with him in person, every year I call him and we take a shot over the phone to celebrate.
He didn’t call me tonight once he was at the bar(let me not jinx it since it’s almost 12) and I have to say, as much as I love him… I’m THRILLED. The thought of taking a shot of Jameson right now forces me to make faces like this.

I hope no police helicopters come circling around my house again tonight. I swear I’m not a criminal so I don’t know why they were around. All jokes aside, it was really scary and I’m very curious as to what was going on and why there were patrol cars outside of my house for 3 hours.
Yikes.

YES! Clean undies!
Everyone who knows me knows I rather buy new clothes than wash a lot of them. In college, we lived in several off-campus apartments with creepy, spider-filled basements housing our washer and dryer(which I don’t do!). My roommates would offer to do my laundry for me sometimes but if I ran out of clean underwear and they weren’t offering, I just bought more.
That happened often which is why my “underwear drawer” now can barely close.
